The Metropolitan Community Churches is a world-wide Christian denomination founded in 1968 by the Rev. Elder Troy Perry. Church History

Promise MCC is a dynamic, Spirit-led, Christian church.   Promise mCC began onMay 18. 1997 under the leadership of its founding pastor, Rev. Jon Haack. Promise MCC is located in northern Oak Cliff, a sector of the city of Dallas, Texas.  Promise MCC welcomes evewryone in a spirit of Christ--we are one in Christ Jesus.  We have a primary outreach to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities.

Since joining Promise MCC, my life, my relationship, and especially my relationship with God have changed dramatically.  Having been hurt by "straight" churches and other "gay" churches in the past, Promise has restored my faith in God, religion, and gay Christians.  We have a great sense of family and an incredible and inspiring body that tryly believes in worshiping God.  Join us sometime!
